Cultural Ceremony

For those invited to the cultural ceremony on the Saturday, 6th of June, please be mindful of timing when booking accomodation, as this will likely be held in Western Sydney. More details will be shared soon.

Accomodation

For our guests travelling to Sydney, or those looking to enjoy a few drinks, we strongly recommend booking accomodation nearby. You will find a wealth of AirBNB's and boutique hotels scattered throughout the Sourthern Highlands. Due to the fact our wedding is on a long weekend, we encourage you to book as early as possible.

If you are interested in sharing accomodation with others, please indicate as such on the RSVP form. We want to organise a few BNB's around Mittagong with transport between them.

Our Story

One fateful winter's day, two fools incidentally met at a subpar Korean Barbeque restaurant in the beautiful suburb of Bankstown. His awkward charm, her sweet curiosity, and the rest, as they say, was history.

Six years, two cities, 19 Lego sets and countless more kbbq dates later, he surprised her on an overcast Tokyo afternoon in a ryotei overlooking a lake with the all important question, "Will you marry me?"

Now, after two years of procrastination, it's time to tie the knot!

FAQ

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free accessible parking available at the venue, simply follow the signs down the driveway.

Can I take and post photos?

Absolutely! We encourage you to take pictures on the day and share them with us at the link above. We only ask that you don't record/post our vows exchange.

What gifts can we bring?

We don't have a gift registry but if you're so inclined, we'd (selfishly) love some support for our honeymoon fund and there will be a wishing well at the venue! Optional but much appreciated.

What's the dress code?

Whilst this isn't a strictly black tie affair, we do want it to be reasonably formal. Wear whatever makes you feel good (unless it's a white dress).

Our colour palette is burgundy, sage and blush, but don't feel obligated to match. And yes, florals (for a flower farm? groundbreaking) work well.

Please bring a jacket, it's almost certainly going to be a little chilly.

Can I bring a plus one?

Whilst we are being pretty strict on our guest list due to venue capacity limitations, please indicate on the RSVP form if you're interested in bringing a plus one. We cannot guarantee that a seat will be available, but we'll be sure to give you an update closer to the date.

Can we bring drinks?

No you can't bring your own drinks, but we do have great flexibility with how we stock the bar. If you want a specific drink, note it on your RSVP form.

I'm allergic to stuff! How will you accomodate me?

So is the bride! Note it on the form, we'll do our best not to kill you and will inform the catering staff.

What can we do while in town?

The Southern Highlands is a beautiful region of NSW, and if you're staying nearby we'd encourage you to explore and enjoy all the region has to offer. Here a few points of inspiration:

  • Visit Berrima Village – explore historic sandstone buildings, cafes, and boutique shops.
  • Go wine tasting – enjoy cool-climate wines at cellar doors like Centennial Vineyards or Bendooley Estate.
  • See the waterfalls – hike to Fitzroy Falls or Belmore Falls for beautiful views and photo spots.
  • Explore nature – visit the Corbett Botanical Gardens or immerse yourself in nearby walking trails, national parks, rainforests, and mountain lookouts.
